Recover

The unique nuBound formula enables athletes to recover more quickly from vigorous physical exercise while providing additional health benefits.

An athlete’s ability to improve though training is limited by the time it takes to recover after a workout.

nuBound enhances the speed of recovery by lowering cortisol levels, reducing inflammation and boosting the immune system.

Rebuild

nuBound was developed based on research showing benefits to your immune system from adding nucleotides to your diet. A strong immune system is directly connected to recovery from exercise.

nuBound developed its patent-pending, proprietary formulation through rigorous testing and the application of the latest scientific research.  Here are some of the benefits for athletes from using nuBound:

  • Decreased cortisol: Cortisol is a stress hormone with catabolic effects (ie, it breaks down muscle tissue). Lower levels of cortisol mean less tissue damage during training and therefore a faster recovery.
  • Increased immunoglobulin A: Immunoglobulin A is an antibody found in mucus membranes and the blood that provides a frontline defense against colds and flu. Higher levels indicate a strengthened immune system.
  • Increased natural killer cell (NK cell) count & activity: Natural killer cells are specialized white blood cells that target and kill virally infected cells as part of the innate immune system. Higher levels indicate a strengthened immune system.
  • Increased ‘run time to exhaustion’: Treadmill tests (using increasing speed from 8 to 18 km/hr) showed a 5% increase in run time to exhaustion, demonstrating improved performance.
